Whole Beef Tongue

Don’t knock it till you try it; Beef Tongue is one of the most tender, marbled, and flavorful cuts you can get. With only one tongue per cow, it’s a rare prize that’s beloved worldwide, from melt-in-your-mouth Mexican lengua tacos to smoky slices in Japanese cuisine.

Each tongue is sold whole, weighing 3–5 lbs, and is partially vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to keep it fresh. Because they’re not fully sealed, you might see a few ice crystals in the pack, but that’s just part of the deal with this hard-to-find delicacy.
